White Earth

Pilates is a controlled system of exercises that engages the mind and conditions the total body. Pilates facilitates a life of harmony, balance, strength, and function. It is a balanced blend of strength and flexibility training that improves postural awareness, flexibility, strength, and, reduces stress. Pilates teaches precise and controlled movements, thus it is safe yet, effective. This transformative form of exercise enhances your overall quality of life and, well-being. Pilates is functional fitness that allows for clients to improve posture, alignment and build core strength. Getting stronger from the inside out!

STOTT PILATES is a contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. Co-founders Moira and Lindsay G. Merrithew, along with a team of physical therapists, sports medicine, and fitness professionals, have spent more than a decade refining the STOTT PILATES method of exercise and equipment. This resulted in the inclusion of modern principles of exercise science and spinal rehabilitation, making it one of the safest and most effective methods available. Our studio is fully equipped with state-of-the-art STOTT Pilates equipment. Our Reformer classes utilize springs that require control and stability through movement. Muscles are worked concentrically and eccentrically so you will develop long, lean balanced muscles. Instructors are STOTT Pilates certified, trained, and highly experienced instructors guiding you to reach your goals.

Pilates is for those who are strong or weak, flexible or inflexible, fitness-minded athletes, seniors, pre/postnatal mothers, those with chronic back pain, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, and those who are rehabbing an injury and everyone in between. Pilates is a great compliment to other sports and fitness programs and is often recommended by doctors, physical therapists, and chiropractors. The exercises in Pilates are designed to be modified in order to adapt to each client's needs.
